What is GAAD?
Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD) is an annual event dedicated to promoting digital access and inclusion for people with disabilities.
A Global Movement
Since 2012, GAAD has brought together developers, designers, businesses, and advocates to focus on accessibility for users with disabilities. Events are held worldwide, from corporate offices to community centers.
Why It Matters
Over 1 billion people live with disabilities. When we build accessible digital experiences, we ensure everyone can access information, services, and opportunities. GAAD reminds us that accessibility benefits everyone.
